Kyle Richards Says Kim Richards' Return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills "Saved" Her

Though Kim Richards momentarily stepped away from filming Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in order to deal with some personal issues, such as seeking treatment for substance abuse, she'll appear later this season, as the supertease above shows. However, some people have criticized Kim for her decision to appear on a reality show like RHOBH where she is often around other people drinking.
But Kim's sister Kyle Richards thinks appearing on RHOBH has actually helped her overcome these challenges. "You know, a lot of people think that being on reality television is not a good thing for my sister Kim, but I actually think the opposite, and she agrees," Kyle told TMZ Live on Tuesday. "You know, in a lot of ways the show has saved Kim."
Kyle went on to say that although being on RHOBH exposed her substance abuse problem, having it out there in the open helped her deal with it head on. "You know, it kind of brought her issues to light, but it also forced her to go and get the help she needed and face her issues. You know, it was like somewhere to get up every day and be accountable," Kyle explained. "So in many ways, the show was good for my sister Kim. But, you know, it is still stressful no matter what."
