Kyle Richards responds to rumours Kris Jenner is set to join RHOBH
Kyle Richards has responded to rumours her close friend Kris Jenner is set to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
After the Kardashian-Jenner clan announced the end of their popular reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians last year, fans called on Kris to join her pals Kyle and Lisa Rinna on the hit Bravo show.
In an exclusive interview with Goss.ie, Kyle said she thinks Kris is “too busy” to join the show as an official housewife, but teased the possibility of a Kardashian-Housewives crossover special.
The 52-year-old said: “Kris Jenner is one of the busiest women I know, I’m lucky she even comes to my events on camera because she’s so busy.”
“We make a point to show up on each other’s shows here and there to support each other but we’re both so busy, there’s no way. People have joked about her doing the Housewives but I think she’s got her hands full.”
“Maybe we could do a special with us all together!” the actress added.
In her exclusive interview with Goss.ie, Kyle also spoke about her recent return to her acting roots, after filming a Christmas movie with Betsy Brandt called The Housewives of The North Pole.
Speaking about the festive flick, the mother-of-four said: “It was so much fun to be back doing what I love the most. My first love was acting. I just felt so grateful and it was so much fun.”
“I really enjoyed creating the character Trish and working with the incredible cast and our director Ron Oliver, who’s known to make the best Christmas movies in the world. I enjoyed every minute of it.”
Kyle also starred in the 2021 American slasher film Halloween Kills, reprising her role as the now grown-up Lindsey Wallace from the original Halloween movie.
The TV personality said: “I am going to be in the next Halloween movie again. I’m just so grateful because when this last Halloween came out, people were reminded I’m an actor and that’s what I do – which I think people forgot over the years with the Housewives. So I was really grateful that it opened people’s eyes.”
“Other people have since called and said ‘Oh let’s put her in this!’ So I’m really excited and I’ll be starting the next Halloween movie [Halloween Ends] pretty soon, and I plan on continuing with acting.”
Kyle Richards teases what to expect from season 12 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Kyle Richards has teased what to expect from the upcoming 12th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, Crystal Kung Minkoff and Kyle will all return for the new season of the hit Bravo show, and Kyle’s sister Kathy will also return as a “friend of” the housewives.
Speaking abut the new season in an exclusive interview with Goss.ie, Kyle said: “Our show is not scripted or set up like some reality shows are, so we never know what’s going to happen.”
“We just start shooting, pick up from where we left off last year, and then every year I’m like: ‘You’ve got to be kidding me, I cannot believe what is happening here.’ So much stuff happens right off the gate,” she revealed.
“Like with Dorit [Kemsley], unfortunately what happened to her with the home invasion. Then something happened with another cast member…”
“It’s just non-stop where I’m like, ‘You guys, you cannot make this up! How is this possible?’ The drama follows us wherever we go.”
Speaking further about Dorit being robbed at gunpoint in her home back in October, Kyle said: “[You get to see] the aftermath because that really affects someone for potentially forever. So that’s been a really challenging situation.”
“All the women have so many different things going on in their lives, it’s literally non-stop. I can’t even keep up!”
Earlier this month, Kyle’s co-stars Garcelle, Erika and Lisa all tested positive for Covid-19, and it was rumoured that filming for the new season had shut down.
Kyle told us: “Filming wasn’t actually paused, that was a rumour. Only some of the girls got it, the others were not around and were fine. So a couple of the girls had to step away from filming for a little bit but the rest of us kept going.”
“It’s just the way it is these days. Last year I had Covid, Dorit had it, my sister Kathy had it, so it’s part of our world now.”
Last month, Kyle’s eldest daughter Farrah announced her engagement to businessman Alex Manos.
Goss.ie asked Kyle whether Farrah would like her wedding day to be filmed for RHOBH, and she said: “I think people would love to see that. Maybe it would be something where we’d film it and give the footage or something. But I don’t know, it feels like such an intimate day.”
“I’d have to think about how I even feel about it before I ask her, but so far I’m just allowing her to have this time to enjoy [the engagement], because I’m dying to ask her: ‘Where are we doing this? What day?’ I’m anxious to get the party started and get the ball rolling!”
“My sister Kim’s daughter also just got engaged so my sister Kathy (who’s daughter Paris just got married) and I were saying, ‘Can we do joint showers with the cousins because they’re so close?’ But I don’t know, it’s their special day so we’ll see!”
Kyle Richards reveals secret plans for the cast of RHOBH to come to Ireland
Kyle Richards has revealed the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills had secret plans to come to Ireland.
The popular TV personality and actress has been a cast member on the show since it premiered on Bravo back in 2010.
During an exclusive interview with Goss.ie, the 53-year-old said she hopes to visit the Emerald Isle very soon as she has strong Irish roots.
When asked if she’s ever been to Ireland, Kyle said: “I have not and I really want to go, it’s on the top of my list.”
“Obviously given the fact that I am Irish, I really want to go. My mom before she passed away she went all over Ireland because she wanted to see it before she passed, and she did it so I was like ‘ok I’m gonna make it there one day.'”
“My husband went once to play golf or something, so I really want to get over there.”
“On my heritage thing it showed me parts of Ireland that my family is from, it’s so funny how they can narrow it down to a little part. So I’m coming there soon!”
When we suggested they plan a Housewives trip to Ireland, Kyle confessed they almost did in the past.
“Oh my gosh, you know we almost did that one season,” she revealed. “I was planning out my heritage and everything and we actually almost ended up coming to Ireland. I don’t know what ended up happening…”
“These last couple of years we’ve been to Mexico and Aspen but we haven’t done a big international trip since Covid because every time we plan something the world shuts down again.”
“So hopefully that will be coming up soon. Let’s start manifesting!”
