Kyle Richards says anxiety has decreased after quitting alcohol: ‘I don’t even take Lexapro anymore’

Kyle Richards is reaping the mental health benefits of her alcohol-free lifestyle.

“I’ve suffered from anxiety for my entire life,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star exclusively told Page Six Saturday at BravoCon in Las Vegas. “So to all of a sudden have my anxiety be so minimized at a time that it should be at its worst. I was really surprised by that. I don’t even take Lexapro anymore!”

Richards — who separated from estranged husband Mauricio Umansky in July — added that she is feeling “really strong” despite currently going through a “really hard time.”

“I stopped drinking and I’m just doing everything I can to be as strong as I can. And it’s working. So I’m grateful,” she added, while speaking to us alongside newbie co-star Annemarie Wiley.

While Richards, 54, gushed over the “clarity” she has gained from cutting out booze, the Bravolebrity emphasized that she is “not an alcoholic,” but rather gave up drinking for “fitness and health reasons.”

Kyle Richards ‘appreciated’ ex-BFF Lisa Vanderpump rooting for her and Mauricio Umansky to work out ‘challenging’ separation

Kyle Richards — surprisingly — had nothing but kind words to say about her former friend, Lisa Vanderpump. The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star reacted to the SUR restaurant owner’s supportive comment amid her separation from Mauricio Umansky.

“I really appreciated her words. That was very, very kind of her,” Richards told Page Six at BravoCon 2023 Saturday, following our chat with Vanderpump earlier in the weekend. “Lisa also has a long marriage and a successful marriage,” she said of her ex-BFF, who wed Ken Todd in 1982.

“I still consider Mauricio’s and my marriage a successful marriage. And even the way we’re handling it now, I feel like we’re doing it the right way as best as we possibly can.”

Her response comes one day after the “Vanderpump Rules” star said it “saddens” her to see Richards and Umansky going through a rocky patch in their relationship.
