Kyle Richards Marvels at 16-Year-Old Daughter Portia’s Makeup Routine: Here’s Why

“I just can't even believe what I'm seeing,” Richards tells PEOPLE

Kyle Richards’ youngest daughter, Portia Umansky, is no longer the tiny toddler fans knew of on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

At 16, Portia — who Richards shares with Mauricio Umansky — is (almost) all grown up, which means she’s living out exciting teen moments, like getting her first car and dabbling in makeup.

“I watch Portia do her contouring on the way to school, and I just can't even believe what I'm seeing,” the mom of four, 55, says while chatting exclusively with PEOPLE about her new skincare campaign with Peter Thomas Roth, also starring her daughter Alexia Umansky, 28.

“I mean, the amount of [contour] lines going all over her face...then I just do my regular routine and I'm like, 'Is it that different?’” Richards continues.

At the end of the day, the Halloween Ends actress prefers a more streamlined, “classic” getting-ready routine, which is why she isn't that into beauty-related hacks on social media.

However, she is open to receiving pointers from Portia.

“Obviously [at] that age, [she] is very much into learning everything on TikTok,” Richards says. “So my morning drive to school every day is when I get all my updates on what the cool TikTok things are.”

When it comes to beauty, Richards is most similar to Alexia, especially in the world of skin care.

“She taught me everything I know,” Alexia told PEOPLE, adding that she’s looked up to her mom “forever.”

Richards is also mom to Sophia Umansky, 24, and Farrah Aldjufrie, 35, whom she shares with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.
