The Life Of Kyle Richards: The Real ‘Charitable’ Housewife Of Beverly Hills
Many of the main cast members featured in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills are well known to many people around the City, but for those who don’t, The Courier will give you a further glimpse into their lives.
The Courier spoke with Kyle Richards, one of the six main cast members on the new Bravo show, to find out more about her personal life when the cameras aren’t rolling.
She is sisters to Kim Richards and Kathy Hilton–making her the aunt to Paris and Nicky Hilton.
Her mom Kathleen passed away from breast cancer in March 2002, which prompted her to be actively involved in Breast Cancer Awareness.
“I have four daughters, so it is a very important cause for me since I have been personally affected by that,” Richards said.
Recently she hosted the Cure in the Canyon event in Beverly Hills and even completed a 68-mile bike ride alongside her husband Mauricio Umansky to help with the cause.
Umansky, a high-end realtor with Hilton & Hyland Realty in Beverly Hills, was very supportive of the show, Richards said.
“Now that we have done it he is excited to see it,” she said.
The show will also feature her four daughters–Farrah, Alexia, Sophia and Portia.
Richards said family was the most important part of her life–and they were all on board during filming, which took place up to four days a week.
“I really wanted to do it just because I thought it would be fun, an adventure,” she said.
“I’m at a point in my life now where my baby is 2, and my oldest is 22, and I just wanted to do something exciting.”
